Early Childhood Educator
Ashley Fransen, Mother of three, has always had a passion for working with children. After pursuing a full time co-op at a childcare centre at the age of seventeen, Ashley knew she wanted a career that involved children and set her sights on getting an Early Childhood Education Diploma. After graduating from Conestoga College, she worked as supply teacher with YMCA Child Care. Once she started to have her own children, Ashley opened her home for childcare and loved getting to make her own program for the children that emphasized the importance of learning through play and encouraging them to express themselves through creative experiences. Ashley has enjoyed collaborating with us for Art in the Park sessions and is excited to be a part of the Exploring Senses Play Lab Team.
